Poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the dealer declares "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the other gamblers attain 5 cards. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your original bet, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with a sum in accordance with the initial wager. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays out chips equal to your ante and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
