Internet poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or other types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the dealer announcing "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players receive 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s first card, you must either make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s value is akin to your original bet, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantaneously to the casino. After the bet is the conclusion. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus an amount in accordance with the initial wager. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays out money even with your bet and controlled odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
