Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the wild west in a great game for early level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the croupier, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By playing against the dealer, new players do not have to be concerned about any other, more skillful gamblers taking their money.
One more Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game play, rookies can take their time and scheme without having to make hasty decisions.
It is also simpler to participate in for an extended time with basically a tiny amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards faces showing and the casino is given seven cards face down.
One five card hand and one two card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
