Now let’s discover some different types of poker other than hold’em, 5 card stud, five card draw and Omaha. Yes, pai gow poker. Now you must be thinking that double-hand sounds a bit Chinese; well you’re correct, this casino game is a mixture of the Chinese game pai gow and our very own us poker
Definitely this isn’t one of the highly acclaimed varieties of poker but still widely played. It can be enjoyed by up to 7 players. It is played with one deck of cards, including a joker. Interestingly, the Joker can be used only as an ace, or to finish off a straight, flush, a straight flush, or a royal flush. The important thing here to always remember is aside from the typical ranking of hands we have an additional winning hand that is "Five Aces" (4 Aces and the Joker). Astonishingly, five aces beats all other hand yes, even a royal flush. Every player is dealt seven cards. The cards are aligned to create 2 hands; a 2 card hand and a five card hand. The 5 card hand must be better or be equivalent to the 2 card hand.
After setting up the 2 hands, the cards are positioned on the table face down. Once down, you can’t touch them. The dealer will flip over his cards and arrange their hands. Each players hand is compared to the dealer’s hands. Should the player take one hand and lose the other, this is known as "push" and no cash is lost or won. If croupier wins the two hands then the individual gives up their bet the opposite is correct if the player wins both hands. Now if the hand is a tie, the dealer wins everything. Once the hand is played, the very next player clock-wise gets to be the dealer and the following hand is given out.
