Have you viewed the new PokerPro texas hold em poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about three weeks back when I took a brief getaway with my mom to the WinStar Gambling establishment in Oklahoma.

As I waited for my turn to be summoned at the live tables, I watched how the other folks at the PokerPro tables interface with each other. It was pretty interesting to say the very least. Because the poker table was controlled by a computer, there had been no clay poker chips to do any chip tricks, no cards to shuffle and the actual live experience was boring. Perhaps I was the only one that recognized this, but I did observe the players on the table had a dull quality to them. The reason behind this may well be because there was no human conversation with the croupier, the ambiance was relatively dull and the gamblers looked bored to tears. It was nearly as if I was seeing a live version of an internet based texas hold’em poker room rather than being seated with warm bodied humans. It was a tiny bit freaky and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of The Next Generation and the holodeck malfunctioned.

Since the waiting time for the are living tables for more than an hour, I made the decision to observe how the game play was and to encounter this new texas holdem poker gaming technologies. Following wagering a few hands, I genuinely felt like I was playing at home. The lack of activity in the table was the main reason. I prefer to shuffle my chips, stack my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those items are feasible at these electronic tables.

Another thing I observed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I bet a lot of hands at the PokerPro table and noticed that the wager on was a lot like a web-based texas hold em poker website. That could have been just a coincidence, except I found it to become very odd.

After wagering a couple of rounds with this "unique texas holdem poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables had been not for me. I’m far better off playing hold’em poker online at house and not travel the distance. If WinStar Casino were to receive rid of the live poker tables, I think they would loose a great deal of players.
