Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the western in a great game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the house, unlike nearly all other poker games that players bet with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to worry about any other, more knowledgeable people taking their $$$$.

Another Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game pace, beginners can take their time and strategize without having to make quick selections.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a long time with basically a little bit of cash after all, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the house gets seven cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
